General Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Wine Tales Portugal’s services.
By proceeding with the reservation, the Client confirms having read, understood and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all wine tourism services and activities organized by Wine Tales Portugal, including guided tours, private pick-up and drop-off transportation, visits and tastings.
2. Booking Process and Payment Policy
To submit a reservation request, the Client must complete the form on the Book Now page. After contacting the Client to clarify preferences and expectations, Wine Tales Portugal will provide the Client by e-mail a proposal for a personalized tour, including a detailed itinerary and total cost.
The reservation will only be confirmed once full payment has been received and upon confirmation by Wine Tales Portugal via email.
3. Prices
Given that each experience is unique and tailored to the Client’s expectations and preferences, the price is determined based on the itinerary, group size, and services provided.
4. Payment Methods
Wine Tales Portugal offers secure payment methods (Stripe and PayPal).
The Client can choose from the following options: Credit or Debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Revolut Pay.
5. Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email.
Cancellations by the Client:
• Up to 15 days before the tour date: a 5% administrative fee of the total booking amount will be charged.
• Less than 15 days before the tour date or no-show: no refund will be issued for any amount paid.
Cancellation by Wine Tales Portugal:
• In the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (extreme weather conditions, provider cancellations, etc.), the tour may be cancelled or rescheduled, with a full refund of the amounts paid or rescheduling at no additional cost.
6. Date Changes
Date changes are accepted once, at no additional cost, up to 20 days before the tour date, and are subjected to availability. Changes made after this deadline may incur additional fees or be declined due to prior commitments.
7. Refunds
Any refund will be processed within 14 days using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
8. Client’s Responsibilities
• The Client must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• The Client agrees to disclose, at the time of booking, the presence of any minors under the age of 18.
• The Client must adhere to schedules, safety instructions, and the rules of the venues visited.
9. Wine Tales Portugal’s Responsibilities
Wine Tales Portugal is committed to organizing and carrying out the experiences as described in the proposal, using duly qualified providers. We maintain the following mandatory insurance policies:
• Civil Liability Insurance
• Transport Insurance
• Personal Accidents Insurance
Wine Tales Portugal is not liable for events of force majeure or acts of third parties beyond its control.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
11. Changes to the Terms
Wine Tales Portugal reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. The Customer is bound by the version of the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of use; therefore, we recommend reviewing them periodically.
